NATURAL STONE - STONE MULCH
We are THE original stone yard for bulk stone mulches since 1972. We carry a large selection of sizes and colors both bulk and bagged. Stone mulch is a natural selection for people who don't want to spend their weekends working on weeding or cleaning up the shrub beds, yet looking like they did. Stone will not fade, burn or harbor insects like wood mulches. You can use a high quality weed barrier like shown on the left. This material is 5 oz. per square yard, heaviest in the industry, the one we use in our work. We carry lighter gauges, equal to home improvement stores, but at the same price. We recommend Pro Plus as a weed barrier. We also recommend Black Diamond quality edging, available in 20' strips. When installed properly, this virgin vinyl edging will stay in the ground and separate your lawn from the shrub bed for many years. This above combination's inital cost is more than wood mulches but your cost will be recovered within 3 years and you'll continue to save money by not having to re-mulch yearly.
